About Me
I am Emerald Bentley Poole. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgia State University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and and a Minor in Entrepreneurship.
I've worked in marketing for three years with an emphasis on video editing and sound design. Finding that perfect edit brings me a special joy. I thrive on the collaborative nature of filmmaking, understanding that the editing room is where the magic truly happens. I am eager to contribute my skills and creativity to projects that challenge and inspire, pushing the boundaries of storytelling.
Sound Design Final Project
This was my final project in film school. The task was to take a movie scene and delete the audio and replace it with my own. It took about 50 hours, and I am immensely proud of it. I was given a 98, and my professor told me it was one of the best he had ever seen for the assignment.
Corporate Video Editing
Highlands Webinar
This project is a Webinar that I created for a marketing company. It was filmed in their office. I edited to simulate the feeling of a live-webinar and created the intro using stock footage. The webinar was very successful. and they still use it on their website.
Sound Design
Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition
I am proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite especially in Premiere Pro and Audition. For this project, I used this stock video and added my own sound using Creative Commons libraries.
